Teachers Love Social Studies

One of the things teachers struggle with is teaching content to English Language Learners while at the same time teaching language. A common question from my colleagues is how do they support their ESL students. Teachers want to do the best they can for their students. I get it. This is why I created my Picture Dictionary in the Content Area - World History resources.

I have a confession to make. I’m somewhat of a history nerd. Given a choice between watching the latest blockbuster movie or a documentary on Ancient Egypt, I’m opting for that documentary 100 percent of the time.

My Picture Dictionary Series is a labor of love. Due to my perfectionist nature, one resource takes me a long time to create. (Keep an eye out for Ancient Rome in the coming months).

I created these resources with students and teachers in mind. There are three elements to each resource - the colored picture packet, a student work packet, and a teacher guide.

Take a look for yourself. Download the Ancient Egypt free resource now.
